At Shilparghya Jalkhura, we believe that addressing critical issues like healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment, and human rights begins with providing education to children in need. Education is the key to empowering children, offering them a secure future and enabling them to grow into responsible citizens, both nationally and globally. While the Right to Education (RTE) Act, implemented in 2010, made education free and compulsory for children aged 6-14, the progress has been slow for many children in our community. The socio-economic challenges faced by parents, combined with the lack of proper learning infrastructure, continue to hinder many children from receiving the education they deserve. Through our efforts at Shilparghya Jalkhura, we aim to break these barriers and ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.

WHAT WE DO

Our school is committed to providing quality education to children in underprivileged areas. We focus on holistic development, offering academic support, extracurricular activities, and life skills training.

Shilparghya Jalkhura’s flagship initiative, Mission Education, is dedicated to empowering underprivileged children by providing them with education, nutrition, and wellness support. Our program is aligned with the objectives of the New Education Policy (2020) and the SDG Goal 4 (Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all). Mission Education focuses on children aged 3-18 years who are living in challenging circumstances. This includes children from economically disadvantaged families, differently-abled children, disaster-affected children, abandoned and street children, as well as those residing in tribal areas, remote villages, and hard-to-reach regions. At Shilparghya Jalkhura, we are committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has access to quality education and the opportunity to grow in a safe and supportive environment.
